Joy Experiment artist Ione Rucquoi says:
I have been working on Sanctae for nearly two and a half years and now that I’m in the final stages need some financial support for the production of the photographic panels which will be printed by http://www.spectrumphoto.co.uk who are sponsoring me to the value of 20% of the overall printing and mounting costs. The metal structure the panels sit within which will be built by PJ Dove Engineering Services also make up part of these remaining costs.
I need to raise the funds by May 2013 to allow enough time for the printing, image post production, mounting and the construction of the metal structure that will house the panels. It will then be installed over several days by my technician and the gallery technicians.
The first showing of the installation will be at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol http://www.rwa.org.uk in 2013 (exact date tbc), I then hope to take the project on tour around the UK. With the assistance of The White Square gallery in Berlin I hope to take the project over to Europe. Bo-lee gallery, Bath is assisting with ongoing proposals and some of the discussions with other potential venues.
